Commemorative naval plaque and crest - HMAS Nirimba

Commemorative naval plaque made from moulded resin. It features the official crest of HMAS Nirimba, a Royal Australian Navy shore establishment.
The centre of the crest depicts a white pelican with a reddish beak and feet, facing left. It stands in front of a blue and light blue background representing water and sky, and is flanked by stylised white clouds.
This is enclosed by a golden naval rope circle, surmounted by a traditional British naval crown in red, light blue, navy blue, white and gold.
Between the crown and the gold rope circle is a small, curved navy blue scroll inscribed with the name 'NIRIMBA' in raised gold lettering.
Beneath the central circle sits a pair of crossed Australian indigenous clubs/weapons interlocked with a boomerang painted in brown and tan tones.
Curving along the bottom edge is a wide navy blue banner bearing the naval base's official motto, 'SUCCESS FROM ENDEAVOUR', in raised gold capital letters.
The reverse is plain, light brown resin. There is a small remnant of a paper maker's tag stuck to the lower section.
