c. 1900The black and white original photograph shows a group of Subiaco State School students and teachers taken circa 1900. There are six rows of boys, all with arms folded, and all wearing suits. Handwritten on the front of the photograph are the words: "This photo was taken at the rear of Subiaco State School about 1900. The teacher on the left is believed to be Mr Brownlow and on the right side is Mr Luskey. Alan Nelson is in the centre front row." The same inscription is added on the back of the photograph with the additional phrase: "I can still recognise the faces of a lot of these boys."
