Laying The Foundation Stone At St Oswald's Church
Light coloured stone suspended from a block and tackle being manoeuvred into place by man in dark clothes, watched by man in light coloured cloak and holding cross staff. Australian and USA flags flying above above clergy and formally dressed onlookers.
The Foundation stone was laid on 27th April 1924 by the Most Reverend C.O.L Riley, archbishop of Perth. Devastated by a fire in 2004. After refurbishment, the new church was consecrated in June 2011.
