The school principal, Mr Bruce Blyth, suggested a recording be made, so assistance was sought from Mr John Christmass, a Senior Education Officer in the Music Branch of the Education Department.
Under the direction of Mr and Mrs Christmass, a programme was selected, regular rehearsals conducted and twenty one songs learned during second term. The final selection of seventeen songs are on this recording.
