Overview

A race meeting at the Toodyay Racecourse. A coloured photo with a chestnut horse that is central to the photo wearing No. 6.
Another horse is seen from behind being lead away from the saddling paddock. The clerk of the course in red riding jacket, white jodhpurs & black knee boots and a hard cap is standing to right of photo.
To the left is a group of race goers, men and women in various dress. Behind this group is a corrugated iron building with a large brick chimney. Two other out buildings are in amongst tall gum trees.

Historical information

Believed to have been taken from a 1977 race meeting after the new Members Stand was opened at the Toodyay Race Club grounds.
