Inscriptions and markings

The 1937 image is identified by hand-printed wording "Midland Junction Town Hall, Xmas1937". Also written on the mount underneath the image is the inscription "Presented by Philips Lamps A/sia Pty Ltd" and a signature appears in the lower right-hand corner. The 1982 image is identified by a gold metallic plate on the frame which reads "Midland Town Hall, Xmas1982".
