Aboriginal carting contractors on the Hale family farm 'Wheatfield' at Kulikup in the 1950s. L-R: Bill Riley, ? Riley, Clem Riley, Spencer Riley. Spencer Riley owned three trucks and employed up to 30 people carting flax from the plantations to the flax mill in Boyup Brook.
