Overview

The programme for the school's Annual Athletic Sports held on the Bunbury Recreation Ground on Friday the 3rd October 1947.

Historical information

Bunbury Recreation Ground was developed from the 1880s, though most infrastructure was not built until the late 1890s. Land for the recreation ground had been set aside by the Council in 1888. By the same year the Bunbury Cricket Club was playing regular games on the Recreation Ground.

The Recreation Ground, a large open grassed area, has been used for a wide variety of recreational and sporting purposes including cricket, athletics and community events.
