Seventy two pages of sketches of cemeteries in France and Belgium, Gallipoli, Lemos, England, Malta, Egypt, Sinai and Palestine. Alongside the sketches is information on the cemetery and or the battle that it is associated with.

Underneath the title in black typed lettering is "A description of many of the Cemeteries overseas in which Australians - including those whose names can never now be known are buried", underneath is a small black wreath and at the bottom of the cover in black typed lettering is "Prepared under instructions from the Minister of State for Defence (Senator G.F. PEARCE). 1920".
