Mastertone Radiogram
Mastertone was the house brand of Burnells, Perth. The firm was founded by Norman Leslie Burnell in 1909 as importer and distributor of a range of items. Two eastern states firms supplied radiograms: AW Jackson Industries and Souther Cross Radio. In the late 1950's Jackson made a roll top radiogram that was named as the Mastertone "Boston" model. Burnells sold a lot of of these.
This Radiogram was bought 2nd hand in 1950
