OCTAGONAL CHURCH, ALBANY 1870
1This is an early black-and-white photographic image of the original Octagonal Church in Albany dressed as Christmas greeting card ephemera. A wreath of Western Australian native wildflowers surrounds the old octagonal church building centre image. This north-facing aspect shows four children standing in front of the doorway to the building. In the foreground, on the left, a young girl leaning against a post-and-rail fence and Australian Shepard close by, poised and on alert. Princess Royal Harbor can be made out in the background behind the building.
