A light amethyst translucent circular bottle at the front, but it then has two flat sides and a flat back. The front has a diamond pattern around an flat clear oval shape, the shoulder of the bottle is fluted. The remainder of the bottle has a smooth texture

Inscriptions and markings

On the left hand side of the bottle is embossed "THIS BOOT IS THE PROPERTY OF C.M.BROOKE & SONS AND CAN NOT BE LEGALLY USED BY OTHERS FOR ANY PURPOSE" Below this lettering is the outline of a standing man holding a bottle.

On the back of the bottle is embossed "C.M.BROOKE*SONS MANUFACTURERS OF 'LEMOS' REGISTERED TRADE MARK".

On the right right of the bottle is embossed "REGd DESIGN No 9072 AUSTRALIA No 8449INDIA '689833GREAT BRITAIN No/1926UNION OF SOUTH AFRICA No67787 US AMERICA No1921 NEW ZEALANDNOREGd1925CANADA ONLY CONTENTS SOLD".

On the base of the bottle is embossed "G 597" and an "M"
