This early drawing of the Subiaco Station shows the importance of the station in the early development of Subiaco. Several houses are depicted in the background as well as important Subiaco businesses. A sign on the right points the way to Whittakers Timber Yard with horse and cart taxis waiting nearby. The business of Simon Chugg, established in 1897’ as an importer and manufacturer of furniture can be seen on the main road, with Brown and Burns Bakery signage in the distance
