Overview
Large framed map of Subiaco with a roller at the top and a round wooden bar at the bottom. It shows Subiaco council area including that part which runs down to the river. The paper is linen backed which shows through where the paper has been torn/cracked. The paper has browned and is wavy from being rolled onto the top roller. Across the centre bottom in black letters on the brown ribbon is 'SUBIACO' and beneath it 'COMPILED AND PUBLISHED BY / HOPE and KLEM / SURVEYO and & DRAUGHTSMEN / SOUTH BRITISH CHAMBERS / BARRACK ST., PERTH, W.A.' There is a scale showing 0 to 20 chains and under this 'COPYRIGHT REGISTERED'

Historical information

Bought by the donor in the early 1990's for $2 (unframed) at a swap meet or market. It was eventually framed and hung in the donor's home before being given to the Subiaco Museum.
