'Dear Mr & Mrs Green,

I must apologize for taking so long to write to you. Thank you very much for the tourist magazine you sent us not long after we got back from W.A. It was good to see a write-up of the places we visited and it also showed us all the places we need to see next visit.

The train was two hours late into Sydney coming back - the carriage behind our sleeping car had its brakes lock during the last evening on the train and we had to stop for a long while west of Parkes. It centainly was better being in the car closest to the lounge car. We have enclosed a photograph which we took in the park on the way back from El Cabello Blanco. We still have one roll of film to be developed but generally they have turned out very well. We look forward to seeing the last roll - it contains the photographs we took as we were touring around.
