A cream piece of paper with the details of the Katanning Netball Association 50th Anniversary dinner and drinks, the cost of the ticket was twenty dollars.
Historical information
Women's basketball started in Katanning on disused land behind the Clerk of Courts building in Clive Street (in 2002). The game changed to Netball in 1969 to avoid the confusion between the men's rules game and the different rules of Netball. Courts were established at Prosser Oval and the games were played there on a Saturday afternoon for many years shifting to the Indoor recreation centre in 1999.
