TOY: WOODEN SOLDIER
Small wooden toy soldier with hat in the style of the French Foreign Legion. Shape is stylised and arms and legs screwed to the body at shoulder and hip, but are still free to move. Hat is continuous with wooden body, painted black and with an inserted black leather brim. Torso is painted bright red with three painted black buttons at centre front. Sleeves and trousers are painted light blue with black-painted boots. Hands and feet have holes, presumably for strings.
