Anne Stafford (nee Whelan) was the wife of Patrick Stafford.
Henry Charles Tonks was former convict no.5097. He received his Conditional Freedom in1872 at Champion Bay.

This note shows that both Stafford and Tonks were illiterate and required someone else to write the note. It is the only promissory note associated either with Stafford or Tonks in the archives.
Very little is known about Tonks, yet he must have worked at Greenough.
