Overview

Gold coloured metal badge with enamel circle above a loose rectangular name plate attached by two golden metal chain links. The shiny round body of the badge has a red enamel border which reads 'CITY OF WANNEROO' in gold letters around the top half of the circle. The gold metal background of the circle is lined with a faint concentric circular pattern. In the centre of the circle is a stylised kangaroo paw with three green leaves, a red stem with green flowers, and thin red outlines. The loose nameplate suspended below the circle has a shallow rectangular decorative border embossed with a triangle pattern. This nameplate reads, in black text, 'BILL MARWICK' above 'Freeman of the City'.
