Midland Railway Company of WA bus driver's coat.
c. 1955Cream-beige coloured driver's dust coat. Features red piping along collar and across cuffs. Silver buttons and belt of same cotton fabric as the coat.
Coats were worn by drivers of the MRWA buses which carried passengers between Perth and Geraldton from 1946. The company also ran wildflower tours on the buses.

The coat has a strong association with an aspect of the working life of employees of a company that was of significance to the Midland area during the late 19th and much of the 20th century.
