PHOTOGRAPH: PERTH ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS EMPLOYEES UNION
1921The black and white photograph has handwritten at the bottom of the image 'Labor Day, 2.5.21'. The photograph features a large group of men and several children interspersed amongst them, seated on the steps of a large building. Some are wearing uniform and others are wearing suits and ties. Most have some kind of tag pinned to their lapels. Behind them, on the wrought-iron gates of the building, is a huge banner representing the Perth Electric Tramways Employees Union.
