Overview

A docket from Wm. J. Rogers to Warren Bros for the purchase of polo equipment. Mr Rogers was a general store keeper in Katanning and Woodanilling. There is a Western Australian one penny duty stamp on left hand side.

Historical information

At the time this Polo equipment was purchased Warren Bros had their own Polo team. They were known as The Bedeons and played all around the area. Team members were Arnold Warren, Elliot Warren, JC Warren, Chris Banko, Herbert Hood & William J Rogers.
