Overview

A colour photograph of May Street (now May Avenue), looking towards Hay Street, showing a number of verges and driveways, as well sections of a few parked cars. There are two electric light poles in the street, with no electrical wires connecting them due to the recent installation of underground power. There are also two yellow poles holding parking signs.
A sticky label on the reverse reads 'Undergrounding of power May Street, 12/12/88'.
