Bob Marahall lived at 35 Jutland Parade, Dalkeith in 1984-'85. Bob Marshall held four world titles (held every second year) including three in a row - 1936,'38, '51 and '62 ( war intervened). In 1952 he went to India by invitation on a goodwill and demonstration tour. He was a runner-up in the Billiard's World Championships in New Delhi, India.The '62 titles, in which Bob Marshall and Tom Cleary represented Australia were held in Perth at the YAL Hall in Irwin Street. Bob Marshall became the foundation president of the WA Division of the Sportsman Association of Australia in 1962. (Harry Hopman, champion tennis player and Australian Davis Cup team coach, formed this association in Melbourne in 1959-1960). Made a comeback to billiards in 1985 at the age of 76 when he won the Australian title.
