A beige coloured embossed card of a Complimentary Dinner that was put on by Katanning Road Board at the Katanning Hotel on January 15th 1943. The front cover has a brown pattern of leaves and stems at the top and bottom. Inside the card is the menu and the toast list.

Historical information

The dinner was held in honour of Mr. Arthur F Watts on the occasion of his election as leader of the opposition in the Legislative Assembly of the Western Australian parliament. The toast list included the Chairman F.M. Bowden, Mr. Balston, Mr. Garstone, Mr A.F. Watts, Mr. Richmond, Mr. Thomson, Mr H.V. Piesse, Mr. H. Roche, Mr J.W. Old, Mr. Synnott, Mr. A. Prosser. Amongst the guest list were Road Board chairmen from Tambellup, Broomehill, Gnowangerup & Kent.
