Letter from Bob Squires
1989 - 1995A two page typed letter from Bob Squires who attended Katanning State School in 1943 and who left school to become a messenger boy for the Post Office. The letter was addressed to the Katanning Historical Society.
The letter describes life at the school, Volunteer Air Observer Corps, the digging of trenches at the eastern end of Bokarup street, and the good and bad of being a messenger boy.
