Katanning's Jubilee Souvenir Programme
1939A pink covered Katanning Jubilee Celebrations Souvenir Programme, printing is in black and white. One the cover the title of the booklet is enclosed with a rectangular border and the title is overlaid over a photograph of the Katanning Town Hall.
This booklet has a picture of the Katanning swimming pool which was built in 1938 and a picture of the Police Memorial at Police Pools Reserve. The booklet has highly significant as it contains a list of the Jubilee Committee and sponsors, the associations that assisted, a complete list of events that occurred from April the 29th to May the 4th, culminating in a Pioneers Dinner at the Katanning Masonic Hall, pictures at the Lyric Theatre, a social evening at the Katanning Town Hall and the unveiling of the Memorial Tablet to Dr. F.M. House in the Town Hall.
