On the mount of the photograph in the bottom right hand corner in green typed lettering is "PHOTOGRAPH by SIVYER'S, 106 WILLIAM ST. PERTH"

On the back of the photograph handwritten in pencil is "Flashlight photo of stage in Katanning Town Hall on the 1st October 1947 on the occassion of the visit of their Royal Highness the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester the Governor General of Australia.
