Fr John Bonato was born in Katanning, his parents were immigrants from Italy. He grew up and went to St Rita's Convent in Katanning and finished his studies at New Norcia. He studied theology at St Peter Chanel Seminary inToongabbie. He taught at Bellambi, NSW at St Paul’s College and over thirty five years living and teaching in Suva, Fiji. The document is a biography of his life.
