Overview

5 1/2" floppy disk punch. It has a fawn coloured, rectangular body, with round button on top. There is a slit on one side, which is used to push a piece out of the floppy disk, to convert read-only floppy disks to writable ones, and increased storage capacity by enabling writing on the unused reverse side.

It was used to punch a hole in a 5 1/2 inch floppy disk to convert read-only floppy disks to writable ones, and to increase storage capacity by enabling writing on the unused reverse side. It was used by Ken Brown, who lived and worked in Armadale.
