SET OF GOLF CLUB WOODS 1976
1976This is a set of three right-handed golf club woods:
- No. 1½ wood (approximate size 190cc)
- No. 3 wood (approximate size 150cc)
- No. 4 wood (approximate size 150cc)
The clubs all feature a pear-shaped persimmon wooden head, each with unique colours and revealing the grain of the wood and the PGF brand name on the top written in gold lettering. The face of each head has a black polymer insert secured by four brass screws where the ball is meant to be struck. The base of each head has a metal (possibly aluminium) insert also secured by four brass screws. On the base is the number of each club; 1½ (~10° loft), 3 (~15° loft) and 4 (~17° loft) indicating the typical relative angle or loft of the club.
All steel shafts appear to be the same: True Temper Dinalite with the number 29 on the steel label. However, the stickers on the shaft with this detail have been worn off to different degrees on each club.
The rubber grips are made by Prosimmon International and have 'All Weather' stamped on them.
