Inscriptions and markings
On the side cover of the bible is handwritten in pencil "Muriel" and below this in pencil is Muriel Blechynden" and below it in blue ink is "Muriel Sutherland" and below that is "1921"
Inside the scroll in dark lettering is "SOUVENIR" and underneath is "PEACE". Below the scroll in dark lettering is "WORLD WIDE WAR" and underneath is "1914-18"
