1997
Overview

Historical information

The Time Capsule Marker Stone was created by early parent George Mardon for the School's 25th Anniversary. Intended to mark the place where a time capsule would be buried, it was eventually set in the grounds of the School in 1999. Later dug up as a prank by a group of Year 12s, the capsule was re-buried in a different location and the Marker Stone replaced.

Contextual Information

Building works meant that the stone was required to be removed and the capsule dug up once more, before the 50th Anniversary. The capsule was from that time stored in the School Archives and the stone held in the Grounds and Maintenance yard. The stone was moved to the front entrance of the Administration Centre on 18 May, 2022, for the 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
