Two storey hotel on the right with an iron roof and a row of chimneys above the balcony with glass panelled doors opening onto it. Balustrading around the balcony, and across the corner is a decorated panel with name C. McManus with light fixture above. On the left is the stone Post Office with high fenced yard to the first shop with large advertisements on side and end of verandah. Two trams in centre of road with delivery van, tourer cars, horses and carts parked on either side of street.
