Overview

Glass aerated water bottle that tapers at the top and has two sets of indentations offset at right angles to contain a glass marble within the neck of the bottle. Bottle has been broken but repaired.

Historical information

Bottle was manufactured by the Osborn and Cavanaghs aerated waters company in the early 20th century and was used for carbonated drinks. The bottle was filled upside down, pressure forced the marble against a rubber washer.
