c. 1950
Overview

Black and white photograph had accompanying typewritten note 'Eclipse Plumbing owner (Don Bothwell) was bought out by the Arcus Bros, D and & Colin - first Don taking half share and Colin the remaining half on Mr. Bothwell's death'. The photograph features a man and two women standing in the yard of the business [13 Roydhouse St.]. A sign on the wooden picket fence reads 'Eclipse Pluming and Manufacturing Co. Sheet Metal Workers and Coppersmiths. Tel. W1837'. Sheets of metal, wheels etc, piled up under the trees behind the group, with a parked car next to that. A couple of sheds and a dunny complete the details in the yard. A large building is visible across the field in the left background. Museum holds the original photograph.
