Inscriptions and markings

In the green diamond shape on the top of the box in black outline lettering is "SELFSET", in the black ribbon scroll in white lettering is "MOUSETRAP". Underneath is a green star and along side of the star in black lettering is "THE NEW ALL METAL SELF SETTING TRAP". Underneath is a green star and along side of the star in black lettering is "HAIR BREADTH SENSITIVITY". Underneath is a green star and along side of the star in black lettering is "NEW PRINCIPLE RELEASE ACTION". Underneath this line on the right in black lettering is "MADE IN ENGLAND".

On one end tab of the box in black lettering is "THE", then green lettering "SELFSET" and then in black lettering is "MOUSETRAP".

On the back of the box framed in a rectangle and black lettering is "INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETTING", underneath is "1. Release Fly-over Arm from Bait Trigger and swing over this arm to the open position so that it extends at back of Trap. 2. Fix bait firmly. Tie or wire it on if required. 3. Before trap is set place it where required. THEN pull back Striker Wire smartly. This will knock over the extended arm and the trap sets itself. Release press of finger SLOWLY." and underneath in black lettering is "YOU CAN SET THIS TRAP EASILY IN THE DARK." and underneath is "Made in England".

On one side of the box in black italic lettering is "Write-ups describe" and underneath is "the" and then in green lettering is "SELFSET" and then in black lettering is "as the" and underneath in green lettering is "INFALLIBLE MOUSETRAP".

On the other side of the box in black italic lettering is "Easy Setting by" and underneath in green lettering is "PRESSURE ?" and underneath is "THUMB ONLY".
