Jarrah Cabinet and Spinning Wheel
1947Jarrah cabinet and wooden spinning wheel
Mrs Todd lived in Kenwick. She came from the Orkney Islands before 1927. Her husband was killed in the first World War and she then married Mr Todd.
It is safe to assume that the spinning wheel was in use many years previous to 1927 - possibly in the Orkneys.
This information was obtained from Mrs Cutter of 26 Neville Road, Dalkeith who unsuccessfully tried to find Mr Todd to get more information.
