Brown Family Bible

Details
This bible is not just named the Brown family bible but it also belonged to Dr Harrison Brown one of the first settlers in the West Arthur district. It is likely that this bible was bought out from England by Dr Brown. It was passed down through the family to Alice Brown and to her daughter Betty Brown (who incidentally is a different Betty Brown to the lady who the Museum is named after). This Betty Brown married into the Trigwell/Perry/Scanlon family and it was Camille Scanlon who donated the bible to the Museum.
