Details
First made about 1907 by BSA. Intended to fit in place of the backsight portion of the long range open sight. Used by EW Rose from Perth Rifle Club. Donated by D Samson.
The "Nose Knocker" appellation arose from the design and positioning of the sights on the rifle that led to impact with shooters noses from the recoil of the rifle upon discharge of the rifle.
