UWA Historical Society Oral Histories
The UWA Historical Society’s Oral History Program started as a project with four oral histories funded from Society resources.
Contributions from each UWA Faculty, the UWA Centenary Planning Committee, Guild, Convocation, UWATCH, Australian Government Your Community Heritage Program grant, private personal donations (including UWA’s former Chancellor, Dr Michael Chaney AO CitWA) and the volunteer work of society members have allowed this collection to grow significantly. We appreciate and thank everyone who has contributed to this program.
There are more Oral Histories recorded than are available on UWA Collected, as some recordings carry conditions and restrictions regarding access. To find out more, please contact the UWA Archives.
Collection summary: A collection of interviews with former UWA staff, recorded by the UWA Historical Society to mark the Centenary of the University.
