This collection contains preserved specimens of marine flora herbarium of the University of Western Australia. The herbarium was established by G. G. Smith in the 1940s and has been further expanded over the years by multiple collectors (Macroalgae: Thomas Wernberg, Albert Pessarrodona; Seagrasses: Marion Cambridge, Gary A. Kendrick).

Extent: The digital collection is currently comprised of 144 specimens representing 24 species of algae and seagrasses which have been collected primarily in Western Australia.
