A framed certificate which states that there is an accompanying medal that was forwarded to Hon. Alexander Thomson, M.L.C. to commemorate their Silver Jubilee on the 6th May 1935. The certificate is on white paper with black typed letters, and the frame is light decorative wood.

Inscriptions and markings

At the top of the certificate is the Royal Coat of Arms in red, with the words 'BUCKINGHAM PALACE' underneath it.

The writing on the scroll is in black typed ink 'By Command of HIS MAJESTY THE KING the accompanying Medal is forwarded to The Hon. Alexander Thomson, M.L.C. to be worn in commemoration of Their Majesties' Silver Jubilee 6th May, 1935.'
