Property of BJ (Crash) and BE (Beryl) Edwards, 'Brooklands Park', Kweda, Western Australia, Australia - 031
1988Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by BJ (Crash) Edwards.
Avon Location 7354.
Comments: The area marked (*) in Squier's paddock is low in relation to the Avon River and flood water comes out into the clearing and flows down the collapsed area and does not get back into the main river for some 10 to 12 kilometres. The new bank where it reaches the fence line and from there through to the river will have to be at least 2 metres high and very well made as it will to need to occasionally withdraw this flooding as marked and may be it is likely that part of bank will have to have plastic, it is not possible to go straight to the river as there is a rise of approximately 1 metre between fence and the river. It will have to be done in late summer as it is now much too wet and full of static water to test bore or work.
