PHOTOGRAPH: THE SUBIACO HOTEL
c. 1980Black and white photograph, shows hotel from the corner of Rokeby Road and Hay Street. Hotel is minus the 'cap' of the tower. The signs on the bottle shop and club bar can be seen on the Hay Street side. There is a motor vehicle stopped at the traffic lights on Hay Street, at the extreme left hand side of the image.
The hotel was extensively renovated in the 1980's. The original spire was dismantled after the 1968 Cunderdin earthquake
