A letter from H.O. Beeck to a Mart. Three pages of hand written letter, detailing how the family cam from South Australia to Katanning and their early years on the land. In 1908 he sent grain to the Franco-British exhibtion and received a lovely gold gilded silver medal. The letter has printed letter Head "'Moyallen' Gnowangerup W.A. 1937".

Historical information

The Katanning Historical Society started in 1937 and a request was made for information, it is thought that this letter was written in reply to that request. Very good account of the arrival of the Beeck family in Katanning to settle at Capemont Farm.
