Letter to War Trophies Committee
1920Two page letter in black typeface, there is a black and white logo for the "Legislative Assembly Western Australia" at the top of the letter.
The document is a copy of the original. The letter is written from the Hon. A. Thomson and is addressed to Hon. J. Prouse M.H.R. House of Representatives Melbourne". The letter has written to the War Trophies Committee Melbourne stating that the residents of Katanning were very disgusted in the allocation of a machine gun trophy to the district. Katanning had sent over 1600 men to the First World War and raised over 20,000 pounds for the various patriotic funds as well as exceeding their quota for the numerous War Loans.
