One Gallon Motor Spirit Ration Ticket
c. 1939A cream ticket with a black rectangle and inside the rectangle is an oval shape with wavy edges and inside this shape is another oval. The printing on the ticket is in black print. The background of the rectangle is a wavy pattern of dots, and inside the oval is a cross hatch pattern, the inner oval has a cream background. At the top of the ticket is attached a light brown card which has perforations.

Above the inner oval in black typed lettering is "MOTOR SPIRIT", inside the inner oval in black typed lettering is "ONE 1 GAL." and below the inner oval in black typed lettering is "RATION TICKET".
Below this oval shape in black typed lettering is "DEPARMENT OF SUPPLY & DEVELOPMENT' and below this is "ISSUED UNDER NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-40"
