CWA Holiday Homes

About This Collection

The First CWA of Western Australia Holiday Home established was ‘Sunshine’ in Cottesloe. It was officially opened in August 1929 by His Excellency Governor Sir William Campion.

Further holiday homes were established in the Pilbara, Albany, Busselton and Dongara in the 1930s, and South Fremantle, Esperance and Geraldton in the 1940s.

More recently, holiday homes were built in Busselton and Esperance.
