Overview

Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by KL (Ken) Olden. Comments: 3rd track paddock — (1) 70 metre broad base into dam to be 2 feet by 10 feet wide base. (2) Proposed bank to continue north to encase all throughflows. (3) Static area — mildly still growing broad leaf species. Some clover still remaining. (4) Deep sand — 1.2 plus some clay encountered, very wet bank behind dam on edge of static and sand. Holes drilled, bank has been situated on 18 inch clay, to be checked for leaks when constructed. (5) Dam leaks at ground level, requires plastic. Dam overflows to be constructed on east side to keep sand dry.
